In his Vice President role in our company, Subbu created a focused and collaborative team from an assortment of skilled but previously isolated people. He recognized the strengths of existing team members, recruited new talent from inside and outside the organization, and smoothed the transition and culture change as we integrated people from another acquired health plan. He identified and developed leaders, and cultivated a shared purpose and identity among those leaders.
